Being the only Food Truck in the Bay Area Certified as a Green Business we believe in using fresh organic, local and seasonal produce. We use Seafood that is only approved under the Monterrey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch.

Whisk Catering opened in Redwood City, California in 2009. Matias Bordaverri, the executive chef and owner of the company, grew up in a Basque-Argentine family spending days collecting eggs, milking cows and picking olives at his family ranch. In 1998 Matias attended the Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia in Buenos Aires, earning a certificate in International Culinary techniques. Throughout the 2000's he traveled through South and Central America and Mexico, where he spent his days researching the art of street food, which led him to open Whisk on Wheels, in 2011. 

Matias is a member of the American Personal Chef Association and of the International Association of Culinary Professionals..
